What is BalancEability?

Balanceability is the UK’s first and only accredited ‘learn to cycle’ programme. Through the use of pedal-less bikes, the course teaches children under 6 the balance skills required to learn to ride a pedal bike.


The aim of the course is to teach motor skills, dynamic balance and eradicate the need for stabilisers.

Will my child need a helmet?

Yes, children are encouraged to bring their own. Helmets will be provided for those without. Children taking part in Balanceability courses will receive a SAVE 20% on cycle helmets voucher.

Where can I buy a balance bike?

Action Bikes stock a range of Balance Bikes. Children taking part in courses will receive a SAVE 10% on balance bikes voucher.

When and where will the course take place?

The next course is being run at Bishop Perrin School in Whitton, WC 23rd Feb 2015.

What is the cost of the course?

The course is sponsored by Action Bikes and there is no cost to parents or the school. Certificates are issued on completion of the course.
